With Lucinda's love for NYC and heartfelt support for the residents of The Rockaways that were devastated by Superstorm Sandy, this fundraiser is all-embracing, including a personal meet and greet, and a signing of her new bestselling book, ‘Charles Dickens: The Dickens Bicentenary 1812-2012.’

Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Joe Hurley will bring his rock band Rogue's March to Rockaway Beach on Saturday, August 16, at Connolly's on Beach 95 Street, for their first local performance in a decade. Hurley, a London-bred Irish-blooded New Yorker, has strong ties to the Rockaways. The ballad "Rockaway," which is about his father's passing, will appear on the band's forthcoming CD, due for release in December.

Filmed by PBS TV, the Launch Party for Joe Hurley's OurLand Festival, 'Celebrating Irish Culture In America', was held July 12th in NYC at the residence of Irish Consul General Noel Kilkenny. Patricia O'Reilly, producer and host of the worldwide syndicated 'Out Of Ireland' , was on hand to capture the lively festivities. The PBS feature on the launch of OurLand Festival, aka 'Gathering The Bards: From Galway to Rockaway', saw interviews, and performances from artists including: Alphie McCourt, soul legend Tami Lynn, Lianne Smith, Broadway's Angelica Page, The Cast of 'ONCE', Blue Oyster Cult's Al Bouchard, R&R Hall Of Famer Denis Dunaway, Irish Consul-General Noel Kilkenny, Blue Coupe, Chris Flynn, and OurLand's Artistic Director Joe Hurley.
