JOE HURLEY - Acoustic Concert in this intimate Bookstore/Performance Venue.

Ticket includes a rare acoustic performance, a Q & A with Hurley, light fare, AND the new Hurley/McCann CD, The House That Horse Built (Let The Great World Spin) signed by BOTH Colum McCann and Joe Hurley. The CD was inspired by McCann's 2009 National Book Award Winning novel "Let The Great World Spin."

THIS IS A BYOB EVENT.

This is Hurley's first return to the area since he was the featured vocalist with THE CHIEFTAINS at their sold-out Count Basie Theater Concert last year. Hurley & The Gents performed at The Asbury Park Guinness Festival the year prior.

Hurley will perform The House That Horse Built in it's entirety, songs from his forthcoming album, many of his classics including 'Amsterdam Mistress' (featured on SONY RECORDS Whiskey in the Jar compilation) and a few surprise standards.

Hurley will be joined by some Top Gents & luminaries for this show. NJ's one & only TONY SHANAHAN (PATTI SMITH BAND) guitar/bass, KENNY MARGOLIS (SMITHEREENS, CRACKER) piano/Accordion, and very special guests: the LEGENDARY jazz-soul vocalist TAMI LYNN (ROLLING STONES Exile On Main Street, Dr John, Bob Dylan) and local ingenue FAITH HAHN (both of whom sing on the CD) and Soul-singing Film-Star Antonique Smith.

Private Concert - Evening sees Joe Hurley & The Chieftains end up at a Mexican restaurant in a 50's after the Chieftains show at Town Hall - Only fitting, their beautiful new album is called "San Patricio."

Joe Hurley's 11th Annual All-Star Irish Rock Revue will enter it's 2nd decade as the grandest and most beloved musical event of the St. Patrick's season in NYC, at the Highline Ballroom On Sat Mar 13th. It has long been "The biggest and best St. Pat's Party in NY" - IRISH ECHO, drawing raves every year from New York Magazine, the New Yorker, Daily News, NYTIMES, Village Voice, New York Post, etc, and has been profiled with TV features and Radio including WFUV.
